#REF Error Fixes
How do #REF! Errors Occur?
- #REF! Errors occur when information on the Producer file Entry Screens is moved from one line to another. (i.e if on the Auto Entry Screen a date is dragged from one line to another).Â
- To avoid these errors in the future, please enter the policy information in each line, do not move it, cut it or drag it.

How to keep #REF Errors to a minimum + fix them proactively & quickly.
How Do I Fix the Error?
- Open the PRODUCER file with the error… (It will have the error in other columns than just the Total Bonus)
- Go to the PAYROLL screen…
- Click on the light blue FIX ERRORS button at the top of the screen…
- Then click on the orange ACCESS THE #REF FIX FILE button (See Video 2 Below)
- Simply follow instructions from there (If you get an error that says FILE NOT FOUND, please look at Video #3 or let us know).

The fix usually only needs to be done on the file that is the source of the problem. (Not on other Producer files).
